I have done it! I've made a facebook account for my cosplay stuff! No kidding!

People who know me and my opinion towards facebook, also know, that I hate it. I was always proud of having no account there. But now it finally happened. I've started a fan page. For progress and other cosplay related things.

So now I've got an account here on deviantart, on tumblr, my blog (still german only) on blogspot, my old and beloved animexx.de account and now this new facebook fan page.

Saedilicious Cosplay

Woah, I've made an update on my blog saedilicious.com ! Yay! Wonders will (never) cease! XD
I am sorry all texts are still in german, but I think that my English is not good enough to write all this stuff in that language. German is still my mothertongue and so I prefer to write so. But if there are some people out there, who think, that my english is not just a crappy piece of thrown out vocabularies with a very bad grammar, please tell me. Perhaps then I will try to translate all that stuff, but I can't promise that you'll understand the translated part. XD
So, yes, as you can see in the blog, I've already finished Frosta and Suki this year, so I am in a very good mood and I hope that I will be able to finish some more costumes in 2013. But there is a problem with the weather here in Germany at the moment: it's freaking hot and sticky. Our flat is just like a sauna! You can also open all windows at night, next morning it's still not cold. It's just tolerable, but that only lasts for an hour or so, before it will already start to get warmer. In the office it's a little bit better, but it's also not nice. Working with such a heat is not everybody's darling. And I am not a fan of this weather.
Enough moaning. I hope that I will be able to work on some other cosplay stuff this weekend (unless I will be melting in the kitchen, while working XD), so I can present some more costumes this year. Wish me luck. ^.-

I am very curious what 2013 brings and if it'll be a better year than 2012. Perhaps I will be able to finish some of my already started projects, like Galatea, Midna, Frosta and so on... But at first, Frosta will have priority, because I want to wear her costume on Leipzip Bookfair in march, together with my friend Isadora as Scorpia. That will be fun. ^.^
I also hope that I will be able to finish Galatea this year and also Midna. These two projects mean so much to me, but I still haven't finished them. Shame on me.
I can't promise that I will be able to do all these things, but I hope for myself, that I can reach some of my goals... We'll see what happens in 2013... ^.-

Show must go on! Yay! Animuc is over and it was a very nice saturday. I've had the chance to take some pictures of my both "Xena-girls" and to make some experience in photography. Nice! Now I know that I have to look for a new camera lens, because the one I've got is not very good... But MissTakashi offered me to try some of her lenses on the next convention, so that I can see and compare them, in order to find the best choice for me, that I want to buy later. Thanks to Kat for her help in advance. ^.-
But the weekend was nice. I've already posted the best photo, I've made (see image named "Raufereien") and for which I've already got a high resonance. Perhaps it's the picture, but I think the good cosplays are the main reason. Good job to my girls! These two are the reason why I am currently thinking about a revival of my idea to make a cosplay of Alti, an evil shamaness, from Xena. There are still some other cosplayers, who wants to join the small Xena group. We have a cast for Callisto and also for a second version of Xena. But we are still looking for some more characters. ^.-
Anyway, the next event is coming up: Hanami 2012 in Ludwigshafen! Oh, I am so excited about this convention, because it is my "home-con". Yes, I have to drive nearly 50 kilometers until I'll reach Ludwigshafen, but it is still near and I associate such nice memories with the Hanami. This year's costume for saturday will be Valeria Vertone from "Angel Links". That woman looks so damn 80ies! The hair, the clothes, nearly everything! I am already working on it, especially on the wig. I've already posted some progress in my blog (you can find the link in my profile), so if you are interested, just have a look. It's german only, but there are also a lot of progress-pictures, that describe my status. I am still thinking about doing another new costume for Hanami sunday. Perhaps I'll have enough time for sewing Frosta's clothes? We'll see...  But I can't promise it. ^.-

Normally I am not a very spontanious person. I rather love to organise my day and all my plans. So I normally also organise my convention plans. But, hell yeah, everything will change this year! So I will be at the Animuc this weekend, which was a very spontanious decision, because a girl I know, who lives in a town nearby, asks for people who wanted to go there because she was looking for someone, who wants to acompany her. That's very logical, because gas prices in Germany are extraordinary expensive at the moment and a trip of nearly 400 kilometers would be very expensive for one person only. So it was decided and I will be present at  this small bavarian convention. I am very excited to see MissTakashi and Isadorada, because they will wear their costumes from Xena, the warrior princess! Misstakashi will be Xena and Isa will be Gabriel. I will totally love and adore them. And I hope that I can make some nice photos from both of them, although the weather predictions look bad... rain all day. I hope it will turn out better.
